Supreme Court Block of Biden’s Student Loan Forgiveness Could Cause College Enrollment to Fall, Experts Say

The Supreme Court struck down President Joe Biden’s student loan forgiveness plan on Friday, yet college affordability will remain an issue for years to come, experts say. In the meantime, more students may opt out altogether. ECMC Group's Question The Quo survey data is cited among findings that show shifting interest in postsecondary education pathways and ongoing concerns about the cost of college.
